Our recent annual trip to the Marne went absolutely splendidly. I would not dream of using another operator as Clarkes contribute so greatly to the success, not least because of having Colin as our driver every year, there is some tricky driving in the towns to which he handled completely without complaint, he was also most cooperative regarding our timings and all those on the trip appreciated his friendly participation.

The Peterborough Coach Rally

Clarkes of London are proud to announce their success at the Peterborough coach rally. Our dedicated team of drivers, Ben, Mark and Ted prepared the vehicle for the show and what a brilliant job they did!

Our team were assigned to take part in timed obstacle courses and planned route runs, on completion of these tasks the trophy winners were announced. After a long hot day and all their hard work our team were rewarded with a lavish gala dinner.

Sunday morning, bright and early the judging took place and Clarkes, for a second year running returned home with ‘The Mercedes Best in Class Award!’

The vehicle entered for the coach rally was our new 2011 Mercedes Benz Tourismo, being one of 20 new vehicles ordered as part of our Vehicle Replacement Plan to update our fleet of commuter vehicles.
